Dr. Jeff Milbrandt, M.D., Ph.D., the James S. McDonnell Professor of Genetics and the head of the Department of Genetics, contributed to a paper that was published recently in PNAS. The paper, “HSP90 is a chaperone for DLK and is required for axon injury signaling,” is by first author Scott Karney-Grobe, a former graduate student in the lab of Dr. Aaron DiAntonio, M.D., Ph.D., the Alan A and Edith L Professor of Developmental Biology. Dr. DiAntonio and two postdocs in his lab, Dr. Erin Frey and Dr. Alexandra Russo, also contributed to the paper. Congratulations, all!
