The Wang Lab has a new preprint, “Transcript assembly improves expression quantification of transposable elements in single cell RNA-seq data.” Wanqing Shao, a postdoc in the lab, is first author on the preprint. Ting Wang, PhD, Professor of Genetics, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and Sanford and Karen Loewentheil Distinguished Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, is senior author.
