The Mitra and Milbrandt Labs had a paper published recently in Genome Research, “High-throughput single-cell functional elucidation of neurodevelopmental disease–associated genes reveals convergent mechanisms altering neuronal differentiation.” Matt Lalli, a former postdoc in the Mitra and Milbrandt Labs, is first author on the paper. Denis Avey, a former postdoc in the Mitra and Milbrandt Labs, is also an author. Jeff Milbrandt, MD, PhD, James S. McDonnell Professor of Genetics, Head of the Department of Genetics, Executive Director of the McDonnell Genome Institute, and Robi Mitra, PhD, Professor of Genetics, Alvin Goldfarb Distinguished Professor of Computational Biology, are senior authors.
