The Genome Engineering and iPSC Center (GEiC) and the Milbrandt and DiAntonio Labs at Washington University School of Medicine collaborated on a paper published in Experimental Neurology, “SARM1 is required in human derived sensory neurons for injury-induced and neurotoxic axon degeneration.” Yi-Hsien Chen, PhD, Assistant Director at GEiC, is lead author on the paper. Senior authors include Yo Sasaki, PhD, Associate Professor of Genetics at Washington University School of Medicine; Aaron DiAntonio, MD, PhD, the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Professor of Developmental Biology at Washington University School of Medicine; and Jeff Milbrandt, MD, PhD, James S.
