After her time as an undergraduate researcher, and a year as full time technician/qPCR wizard, Justine is heading out to the coast to pursue her career interests in healthcare before applying to medical school. We wish her all the best!
Justine will be starting a job as a Care Manager at a mental health telemedicine startup called Cerebral. The platform is setup so that patients subscribe to a monthly service that connects them with a provider and Care Managers like Justine. Providers speak with clients and prescribe them necessary medications to treat either depression, anxiety or insomnia. Justine will be involved in monthly follow-ups with the clients but are also available 24/7 for psychosocial support and to answer any questions/concerns. Justine is especially excited about returning to San Francisco and the opportunity to work directly with people receiving care.
