Gabriel Bien-Willner wins AMP Young Investigator Award

The AMP Young Investigator Award recognizes the best abstracts submitted by Trainees who are AMP members and who present outstanding basic or applied research in poster format at the Annual Meeting.  Trainees eligible for this award are students, postdoctoral fellows, or residents and they may be either Associate or Regular members of AMP.  The mission of the award is to encourage junior investigators to ask important original questions, to design sound, controlled experiments with a clear rationale, and to present the results clearly in a poster format.  Each year three Young Investigator Awards are presented at the Business/Awards Session at the Annual Meeting.

The award was presented at the Association for Molecular Pathology meeting (AMP) in Long Beach, CA (Oct 24-27, 2012).
