Brandon is majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience.  He works in Dr. Denise Head’s lab on how age-related impact brain morphology and cognition.

Cameron is majoring in Anthropology. She work in Dr. Josh Rubin’s lab and studies the mechanisms that predispose men to develop glioblastoma at a significantly higher rate than women.

Derrick Ogola

Hope Center Scholar of the MARC U-STAR Program

Derrick is double-majoring in Biology and Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology. Derrick works in Dr. John Cirrito’s lab, and his research seeks to understand the relationship between synaptic activity and amyloid-beta metabolism in Alzheimer’s Disease.   Derrick is generously supported in through a donation from the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders at Washington University (https://hopecenter.wustl.edu/).

Reuben Hogan

Reuben graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Biology and one in Anthropology. He was the 2018 Student Speaker for the Washington University in St. Louis Arts and Sciences Graduation. He is currently taking a gap year or two as a research technician at UCSF. He plans to matriculate into an MD/PhD program.
