The Dougherty Lab recently had a paper published in Cell Reports. The paper, “Cell-Type-Specific Profiling of Alternative Translation Identifies Regulated Protein Isoform Variation in the Mouse Brain,” shows that alternative translation is widespread and regulated across brain transcripts. Darshan Sapkota, Ph.D., a postdoctoral researcher in the Dougherty Lab, is first author on the paper. Dr. Joe Dougherty, Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, is a senior author on the paper. Congratulations, all!
