William Buchser, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and Cell Microsystems, a Research Triangle Park, NC-based biotech company, recently got an NIH grant to develop pooled CRISPR-mediated genome editing. The funds are part of a larger, $1.9 million grant that Cell Microsystems received to automate CRISPR workflows using in-house technology.

Cell Microsystems’ project with Dr. Buchser will focus on its AIR System, an automated platform for imaging, sorting, and isolating cells. Congratulations, all!
