The DiAntonio and Milbrandt Labs published a paper in the Journal of Cell Biology, “SARM1 acts downstream of neuroinflammatory and necroptotic signaling to induce axon degeneration.” Kwang Woo Ko, a postdoc in the DiAntonio Lab, is lead author on the paper. Jeff Milbrandt, MD, PhD, the James S. McDonnell Professor of Genetics and head of the Department of Genetics at Washington University School of Medicine, and Aaron DiAntonio, the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Professor of Developmental Biology and co-director of the Needleman Center for Neurometabolism and Axonal Therapeutics at Washington University School of Medicine, are senior authors.
