Dr. Xiaoxia Cui in the McDonnell Genome Institute has a Biomek FX available to a good laboratory home. She says it is functional but requires regular service. It has been used to transfer ~1 ul to ~20 ul with a 96-well head and it can accommodate 96-well and 384-well plates.
