 an class="outlook-search-highlight" data-markjs="true">Cavalli</span> lab i
 nvestigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating sensory functi
 ons in the peripheral nervous system\, aiming to identify therapeutic targe
 ts for improving neuronal function in the context of nerve injury\, aging a
 s well as neurodevelopmental disorders. Our studies focus on Satellite Glia
 l Cells\, which surround sensory neuron soma in all peripheral ganglia\, re
 gulating the transmission of sensory information from the environment and i
 nternal organs to the brain. Using human tissue\, we investigate how the fi
 ndings made in the mouse model system translates to human physiology.</p><p
