 nisms to adapt to their environment and how behaviors evolve is still limit
 ed. Deer mice comprise a diverse group of closely related (sub)species that
  have adapted to almost every terrestrial habitat in North America. We will
  discuss how growing genomic resources\, in combination with their rich nat
 ural history\, make deer mice an attractive system for evolutionary genetic
