 the gene regulatory mechanisms that underlie psychiatric disease. We apply 
 preclinical mouse paradigms of cocaine use disorder to define cell type spe
 cific gene regulation across drug abstinence to identify mechanisms that pr
 omote relapse or recovery. Using novel epigenetic editing tools\, we regula
 te specific histone modifications and examine their causal relevance to tra
