 omponents/mechanisms. Neuroplasticity in the amygdala              is causa
 lly linked to pain behaviors but underlying mechanisms change in the transi
 tion to chronic pain. Neuroimmune signaling plays an important role in the 
 chronification of amygdala neuroplasticity and pain behaviors.</p><p><img c
