 :</strong> I will present our most recent work using long-read sequencing t
 echnologies to sequence hundreds of human and non-human ape genomes more co

 e work has led to the discovery of more complex forms of structural variati
 on mapping to segmental duplications\, acrocentric regions\, and centromere
 s with the potential for new genetic disease associations and insights into
