 feature lectures consisting of two thematic areas. The first will focus on 
 emerging technologies for understanding human genome functions. Speakers wi
 ll discuss genomic technologies that include multi-omic analyses at a singl
 e-cell level\, genome structure and function\, and large-scale analysis of 
 nucleic acid-protein interactions. The second area will focus on technologi
 es for making and sequencing DNA and RNA. Speakers will discuss tools for m
 anipulating and editing DNA\, sequencing beyond natural bases\, expanding s
 tudies of global genetic diversity\, and translational control in mammals. 
 The afternoon will culminate with a keynote address from Robi Mitra\, PhD\,
  the Alvin Goldfarb Professor of Computational Biology in the Department of
  Genetics and the Edison Family Center for Genome Sciences and Systems Biol
 ogy at Washington University in St. Louis.</p>
