  multiple genes (e.g.\, 15 genes/haploid genome for histone H3). Interestin
 gly\, mutations in just one of several copies of histone genes have been re
 cently identified in various cancer types and developmental disorders. My t
 alk will focus on the expanded landscape of cancer-associated histone mutat
 ions as well as decipher how histone germline mutations dysregulate chromat
 in function and impact brain development.</p>
