Genetics Seminar: Aakanksha Singhvi, PhD

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Connor Auditorium (FLTC)
Aakanksha Singhvi, PhD, Associate Professor, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Dept. Biological Structure, UW School of Medicine

Presents:  Molecular mechanisms and heterogeneity of glia-neuron interactions

Host:  Dr. Tristan Li

In person only:  Connor Auditorium (FLTC)

Abstract: The nervous system has two major cell types, neurons and glia. The Singhvi lab aims to understand, at molecular mechanistic resolution, how different glia-neuron interactions modulate neural functions and animal behavior in health, aging, and neurodegeneration.
