Talk Title:  Early-Onset Cancers: Grand Challenges in Discovery and Prevention

Abstract:  Cancer is increasingly striking younger adults in the prime of their lives, yet the causes behind this emerging global phenomenon remain largely unknown. This seminar will discuss the grand challenges in understanding and preventing early-onset cancers and highlight the urgent need to accelerate discovery of actionable risk factors, predictive biomarkers, and strategies for prevention and early detection through interdisciplinary partnerships spanning population science, biology, computation, and community engagement.
