Purva Patel, a third-year graduate student in the Jin lab, has been awarded a full scholarship to attend the 2026 St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium, a highly selective national meeting for outstanding biomedical science trainees.
Chosen as one of just 40 awardees from more than 1,900 applicants, Patel will join graduate students from across the country for the symposium, hosted by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where participants share research, build connections, and explore future career paths. The 2026 meeting will take place March 24–27.
