Zefan (Vivien) Li, a third-year graduate student in the Jin lab, has been selected for the 2026 cohort of Washington University in St. Louis’s Pivot 314 Fellowship, a competitive program that supports emerging leaders across disciplines.

Offered by WashU’s Center for Career Engagement, the Pivot 314 Fellowship recognizes graduate students who demonstrate strong potential for leadership and innovation beyond the traditional academic pathway. As a fellow, Li will take part in monthly professional development workshops, interactive panel discussions with leaders from the St. Louis startup and innovation community, and individualized career coaching designed to broaden professional impact and perspective.

Li’s selection for the Pivot 314 Fellowship reflects her outstanding achievements as a graduate student and her commitment to expanding the reach of scientific training. We are proud of her her selection into the fellowship cohort and look forward to seeing the impact of her work in the year ahead!
